Gaze Gym is a short eye workout. A dot moves across the screen and you follow it with your eyes while your head stays still. The TrueDepth (Face ID) camera follows where you are looking and scores how closely you stay with the dot.
REQUIREMENTS An iPhone or iPad with Face ID. Devices without a TrueDepth camera cannot track gaze, and the app will say so.
HOW A SESSION WORKS
FAQ Q. The app says my device isn't supported. A. Gaze tracking needs the Face ID camera. Devices with Touch ID or an older front camera cannot run the exercise.
Q. Setup says my gaze barely registered. A. Light your face from the front, hold the phone at eye level, and open your eyes a little wider. Thick glasses can weaken the tracking.
Q. The workout keeps pausing. A. It pauses when your head turns away from where it was at the start. Put your head back and tap Continue. Only your eyes should move.
Q. Can I turn off the sounds? A. Yes. The bell button at the top right turns the tones and vibration off.

Gaze Gym does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
CAMERA The app uses the front camera through Apple's ARKit face tracking to follow your gaze while an exercise is running. All of this happens on your device. No image, video, or face data is saved by the app, and nothing is sent to us or to anyone else. The camera stops as soon as the exercise ends or you leave the screen.
Face data (TrueDepth camera) • What the app reads: During an exercise, the app reads, in real time through ARKit (the TrueDepth camera), the position and orientation of your face, the position and gaze direction of your eyes, and how far your eyes are closed. It does not create or store photos, video, the 3D shape of your face, or any information used to recognize who you are. • Why: Only to score how well your eyes follow the dot on screen, and to pause the exercise when your head moves or your face leaves the view. It is not used to identify you, for advertising, or for analytics. • Storage, retention and deletion: All processing happens in memory on your device. Nothing is saved on the device or sent to any server; the data is gone as soon as you leave the exercise, so there is nothing to retain or delete. • Sharing: Face data never leaves your device and is not shared with anyone, including third parties.
WHAT THE APP STORES Nothing. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, and keeps no history of your sessions. Your calibration and scores exist only while the app is open and are gone when you close it.
ANALYTICS AND ADVERTISING The app contains no analytics and shows no ads. If advertising is added in a future version, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
CHILDREN The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
